I can't believe it hasn't even been a week since Mike & Nadia were here. What a flurry of activity and what a lot of fun!
Hmmmmmm........Dad and I had Scooter's today with Nick, and I think we just might have to indulge in wings & potato wedges from Ready Go tomorrow. You know - to commemorate the anniversary!
Dad told of the horrific rains on the way to and from the airport. All we got here in the Villa of Pain was a great cloud show.
And now.........are you ready for this? I pulled the carrotts!!!! Drum roll, please...............I know you're excited.......
Yep - they're the size of a cherry tomato! WTH? Oh, well, maybe next year. The tops were beautiful and I did get one more cucumber for a total of 7.
Today after Nick headed home, Dad crashed out in the living room for some rest and relaxation, when something caught his eye on the living room floor. At first glance he thought it was a leaf, but then it hopped at him! Yep - a FROG!!!! How it got in the house, we'll never know.
He was a cute little guy and didn't seem to mind posing for the camera before Dad let him loose on the side of the garage.
He never made any noise, and he didn't seem to be in any hurry to leave his new human friend!
Well, that was the excitement here on the south shores of Lake Erie for this week. Until next time, everyone stay safe. Love, Mom
